Al Ajlan explained that during the meeting, representatives of the private sector in the region were discussed about the most prominent challenges and obstacles facing investors and entrepreneurs, and the most promising opportunities and the role of the private sector in the economic development process in the Kingdom. Stressing that the meeting confirms the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' keenness to support this sector as well as an incentive to do more in order to develop performance and contribute to the development process that the Kingdom is witnessing in all fields.
The meeting also included an invitation to the shrine of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for businessmen to present their initiatives and visions in their various sectors, pointing out that the door to his honorable shrine is open to businessmen to raise any problem they face.
He pointed out that businessmen are keen to achieve the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in activating the role of the private sector in raising the gross domestic product, stressing that the private sector relies on the national cadre as a strategic option on its part.
He pointed out that the private sector is considered a vital and very important part and it is a fundamental engine of the national economy, and that it is time for the private sector to play its national role and assume its responsibilities in achieving the goals of the Kingdom's 2030 vision and the National Transformation Program, which is the most important vision program aimed at raising the performance of the public sector and removing procedural and administrative obstacles And finance, stimulating the private sector, expanding privatization, diversifying the economy, and increasing exports.
Al Ajlan indicated that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' meeting with businessmen stems from his paternal feelings towards his citizens, and this is a clear reality for everyone. He said that businessmen have a great responsibility in performing their duty towards the homeland and achieving the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, especially since businessmen are citizens before they are all businessmen.
He pointed out that achieving the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques leads to the prosperity and stability of society and the provision of social security, and it is one of the most important elements that create a positive investment climate due to its impact on the businessman in the first place.
