Ajlan & Bros. Group and Rashid Al-Abdurrahman Al-Rashid & Sons contribute 20 million riyals to face CORONA virus

The Minister of Health, Chairman of the Health Endowment Fund, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, and the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Mr. Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan., Signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance joint cooperation and enable the participation of the Saudi business sector and its institutional bodies to support the Health Endowment Fund in the face of the Corona pandemic.

This cooperation between the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Health Endowment Fund is driven by the important strategic roles that both play in the economic and health fields, as the Council represents the umbrella of the business sector in the Kingdom and works to enhance the community participation of private sector enterprises and to play the national role in light of the current circumstances in a way that contributes to supporting and developing the health sector In the face of the Corona pandemic, while the Health Endowment Fund is a civil body and a strategic partner of the Ministry of Health, based on its role in encouraging charitable work and voluntary contributions in the field of health care and assistance in providing patients with equipment, treatments and rehabilitation.

The scope of cooperation according to the terms of the memorandum of understanding includes the Health Endowment Fund providing the Council of Saudi Chambers with all data and information related to the Fund and its initiatives in combating the Corona pandemic, while the Council of Saudi Chambers will encourage the Saudi business sector and the members of the Chambers of Commerce to contribute to supporting the Health Endowment Fund to enhance its efforts in combating the spread of the Coronavirus, and highlighting these contributions in the media, in appreciation of the tender made by Saudi business owners and their honorable stances during this crisis.

The two parties aim to urge the Saudi business sector to support the Health Endowment Fund with an amount of (300) million Saudi riyals.

In interaction with the national objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Health Endowment Fund and the Council of Saudi Chambers and affirming the societal role of the Saudi private sector, Ajlan and Bros. Group announced their contribution of 10 million Saudi riyals to the Health Endowment Fund, and Rashid Abdul Rahman Al Rashed and Sons Company announced its contribution of 10 million Saudi riyals.
